One of the things you notice when you move from city to city across the United States is that while the cities may change – as well as the people, the food, the culture, etc. - the apartment search never seems to feel any different. When we moved to Florida, finding open South Tampa apartments was just as difficult as finding a place to live elsewhere.

However, in Tampa, there was a small difference. Though the Tampa rentals may be the same, we noticed that the act of searching for an apartment became far more enjoyable. Perhaps it was the sweet car we were renting or the fact that we were excited about our move, but I have a feeling it was the weather and the wonderful views. Normally when you judge from suburb to suburb, looking for a place to live, you drive through some sketchy areas that normally you would not step foot in.

But searching for apartments for rent in Tampa left us driving along the coastline, enjoying the views on the beaches as well as the warm, crisp air. Driving through Tampa felt, in many ways, like a sightseeing trip rather than a chore, and by the time we found a place, we felt like we had just finished a short vacation.
