Here are some of the ways that you can use your business to help out your child’s school or a school in your neighborhood:

• Donate classroom supplies. Ask the teachers in your school to come up with a school supply list of things that they need. See if any of them are things that your business already has or can easily get and donate them so that the kids have what they need.
• Sponsor a classroom. Discuss options with a teacher to determine what the best method of sponsoring the school might be. There are many different ways that this can be done.
• Give employees time off to volunteer in a classroom. Let everyone take off early on a Friday afternoon to go read books in a children’s classroom or otherwise help out the local schools without losing out on any pay.
