I had been involved in Futures Trading for awhile and considered myself something of an expert so when a colleague suggested that I take a Futures Trading Course, I found the suggestion somewhat offensive. The colleague was quick to tell me that he didn’t think there was anything wrong with the trading that I was already doing. He just felt that everyone out there who is involved in Trading Systems can benefit greatly from taking a course every now and then.

I decided to go ahead and take his advice because I figured it was something that couldn’t hurt. All education helps us somehow right. I signed up for a course that specifically said that it was designed to dispense advanced trading knowledge. I admit that I remained skeptical before taking the course but I did try to approach it with an open mind.

What I learned was that my colleague had been right. There is a lot to know about day trading and the trends are always changing. This means that there’s always something more to learn about futures trading. In fact, I realize now that it was a little bit naive of me to think that I already knew it all. I’ll definitely be taking some more training classes in the future!
